Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah for Marion L. McMullin, 84 of Tekamah who died May 7, 1990 in an Omaha hospital. Burial will be in the Craig Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening.

Marion L. McMullin was born July 16, 1905 in rural Burt County to Henry Lee and Margaret Solu McMullin. He attended and graduated from Craig High School.

He taught school in Burt County where he also farmed. He was also a mechanic in Craig. He retired from Interstate Battery Systems in Omaha in 1967.

He married Jeanie B. Lester June 1, 1929. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jennie Lou Tichota, Blair, Peggy Memmott of Nephi, Utah, and Joan Zessin of Tekamah; one son, Jack McMullin of Champlin, Minnesota; one sister, Ruth Conklin of Moscow, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Hamel & Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
