MRS. DOLORES DIRKSCHNEIDER SERVICES HELD MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Dolores Hoesing Dirkschneider, 73, of 722 Dodge Street in Fremont, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Saint Patrick’s Church in Fremont. Rev. Charles Swanson officiated. Burial followed at Fremont’s Calvary Cemetery. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Moser Memorial Chapel.

Born Oct. 23, 1911 in Sioux City, Iowa, Dolores grew up in the Newcastle, Nebraska area. She moved to Fremont in 1940. She worked in many Fremont restaurants and also operated her own café. She was also employed by the Montgomery Wards store in Fremont.

She married Raymond Hoesing Nov. 7, 1934. He died Jan. 13, 1971. She married Bernard Dirkschneider March 22, 1975 in Fremont. He died June 5, 1983. She was a member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church; was chairman of the church’s Altar Society; and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Fremont.

Survivors include her son Robert Hoesing; daughters, Mrs. Ray (Bette) Rowe of O’Neill and Mrs. William (Beverly) Chappelear of Arlington; stepdaughters, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn) Tresnak of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Carl (Luella) Wallingford of Fremont and Mrs. Marilyn Kriz of Dodge; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Tuition Assistance Trust Fund of Fremont Bergan High School, care of the American National Bank in Fremont.
