Tammy Bunten Thorpe, 47, of Beatrice, formerly of Blair, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at her home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tammy Bunten was born May 12, 1966, to Clyde and Phyllis (Rasmussen) Bunten in Scottsbluff.

She attended Blair High School and graduated in 1984. During her school years, she was involved in softball and was very active in the Judy Howard Dance Studio.

She was employed until 1997 with Bunten Agency in Blair. She had various jobs until 2004 and then homemaker became her full-time job.

She married David Thorpe in Norfolk March 8, 2013.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Beatrice.

She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She really enjoyed getting to watch Nicky and Brittney dance for Judy Howard Dance Studio just as she did when she was young. Her passion for life was dancing and she dreamed of one day starring on Broadway.

She is survived by her husband David Thorpe of Beatrice; daughters Nicky Royer of Mobile, Ala., and Brittney Royer (and friend London) of Beatrice; son Andrew Royer of Beatrice; mother Phyllis Bunten of Blair; sister Kim (Ron) Behling; daughter Heather (Royer) Behling of Syracuse; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Bunten; grandparents; two uncles and three aunts.
