Robert D. Watts, 58, of Blair died Monday, April 14, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert D. Watts was born Sept. 4, 1955, in Blair, to Donald L. and Gladys V. (Jensen) Watts.

He lived in Kennard for the first few years of his life until the family moved to Blair. He attended Blair Community Schools where he was active in football and basketball. He graduated as a member of the Class of 1973.

After high school he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After college, he moved back to Blair and married Leslie Stewart of Blair. To this union, the couple’s son, Eric, was born. The couple later divorced.

Mr. Watts worked as a computer programmer and systems analyst for 18 years. On August 8, 2008, he was united in marriage to Vickie Larsen of Blair.

He is survived by wife Vickie of Blair; son Eric of Blair; parents Donald and Gladys Watts of Blair; sisters: Anne (Kerry) McKain of Blair, Kathy (David) Halada of Lincoln, Sue (Melvin) Center of Lincoln and Jean Watts of Omaha; brothers: Michael (Laura) Watts of Omaha and Ed (Jimmi) Watts of Omaha; brother-in-law Bob Hullett of Omaha; stepchildren Shawn and Patrick Larsen of Omaha; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by sister Laurie Hullett.
