Lynda L. Shedd, 45, of Omaha, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Stanley-Iverson Funeral Home in McVille, N.D. Visitation was held Monday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Lynda Lee Shedd was born May 31, 1961, in McVille, N.D., to Lewis and Marjorie (Schuh) Shedd.

She worked for Albertsons Grocery store in Omaha for 13 years and for Blair Superfoods and Deli for 10 years. She was working for Superfoods at the time of her death.

She enjoyed fishing and shopping.

She is survived by her boyfriend of 25 year, Floyd Strouse of Omaha; son, Dezi Shedd of Omaha; mother, Marjorie Shedd of McVille; two sisters, Myrna Ophaug of McVilled and Luann Franzen of Lakota, N.D. and a brother, Larry Shedd of McVille.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis.

Lynda Lee Shedd, age 45, resident of Omaha, NE, formerly of McVille, ND, died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Lynda was born May 31, 1961 in McVille, ND, the daughter of Lewis G. and Marjorie (Shuh) Shedd. She was baptized and confirmed at Sheyenne Lutheran Church, and graduated from McVille High School in 1979. In her younger years, Lynda worked at Community Lanes and the nursing home in McVille. After graduating, she worked for Albertson Grocery Store for 13 years, beginning in Grand Forks, ND, then transferring to Omaha, NE in 1991. Lynda then worked for Blair Super Foods and Deli for 10 years. She was working for Super Foods at the time of her death. She enjoyed fishing and shopping.

She will be deeply missed by her special friend of 25 years, Floyd Strouse of Omaha, NE; her son, Dezi Shedd of Fargo, ND; her mother, Marjorie Shedd of McVille, ND; 2 sisters, Myrna (Leland) Ophaug of McVille, ND, and LuAnn (John) Franzen of Lakota, ND; her brother, Larry Shedd of McVille, ND; and 8 nieces & nephews: Michael, Michelle & Melissa Ophaug; Matthew, Lori, Lisa & Kimberly Franzen, and Kylie Shedd

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Shedd, and her grandparents: Anna & John Schuh, Clara Tandberg & Fred Shedd.
