Services Held For Catherine Sheehe Wednesday

Funeral services were held at 12 noon Wednesday, June 18, at St. Anthony’s Church in Fresno, California, for Catherine Brunz Sheehe, age 55, who died Sunday June 15, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno after being in an auto accident on Friday.

Rosary was said Tuesday, June 17, at St. Anthony’s Church. Burial was in Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno.

Catherine Brunz Sheehe was born on March 10, 1925, in Herman to Frank and Mary Brodersen. She was married to Bernard Sheehe and the couple had lived in California for the past 25 years.

A homemaker, she also taught nursing at Fresno City College. She had been a nurse for 35 years. She was a member of St. Ann’s Guild, Fresno Women’s Symphony League and the Mercedes Benz Club.

Her father preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard; four sons, John Sheehe, New Jersey; Tim Sheehe, San Francisco; William Sheehe and Kevin Sheehe, both of Fresno; and two daughters, Mary Cameron Sheehe and Margaret Ruth Sheehe, both of Fresno. Her mother, Mary Brodersen, Herman, and one brother, Charles Brodersen, Hastings, also survive her.

Pallbearers were Tom Bremmer, Ed Franz, Joe Bremmer, Robbie Bremmer, Harry Farrell, and Dwain Duis.

Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 1525 S. Saginaw, Fresno, was in charge of arrangement for the services.
