Services for Carol Jean Sheets were held 10:30 Monday, February 6, 1989 at the First Lutheran Church with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Carol was born on July 9, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles and Elsie Sorensen Sachs. She graduated from Elkhorn High School and later attended Nebraska Wesleyan College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was united in marriage to Bobby Sheets on May 25, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska. Carol was a member of First Lutheran Church, member of the Christian Womens Club, and a member of the Bench Club.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Larry Smith of Blair; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott and Jerri Sheets of Omaha, Nebraska; David and Paul of Blair; two grandchildren, Megan and Nicholas Smith; three sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Donna) Seevers of Omaha, Nebraska; Charlyne Bochek, Omaha; Mrs. Larry (Winifred) Dein of Blair; 1 brother Robert Sachs of Omaha.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Howard and Glenn Sachs.
