Loraine Sheets, 83

Funeral services were Saturday, November 24 at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Loraine Sheets, 83, of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital November 22, 1990. Graveside services were held at the Blair Cemetery.

Loraine A. Christensen was born August 10, 1907, at Oakland, Nebraska, to Andrew and Nikoline Hansen Christensen. During her infancy, her parents moved to South Dakota, returning to Nebraska later.

She married George Sheets, Sr., April 22, 1925 at Blair. They lived in Herman, West Point and Blair, residing in Blair since 1932.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in July, 1980. Others who preceded her in death included her parents; one son, George; one daughter, Rose Mae; three brothers and seven sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Clarence Sheets and Bob Sheets of Blair; three daughters, Susie (Mrs. Russell ) Christensen and Lena Mae (Mrs. Bill) Williby, both of Blair and Nila (Mrs. Jack) Haggard of Cincinnati, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ella Paulsen and Lillie Jensen, both of Blair, and Frieda Hansen of Wayne, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
