Ramona Sheets

Ramona L. Sheets, 82, of Versailles, Mo., died Friday, May 6, 2011, at her home.

She was born Nov. 28, 1928, in York to Harry and Bertha Menking Edwards. She married Milford Sheets on Sept. 4, 1947, in Blair. Ramona was baptized at the Church of Christ in Versailles.

She enjoyed bowling, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Milford Sr., she is survived by her sons, Harry Sheets, Milford Sheets Jr., Robert Sheets, Kevin Sheets (and wife, Linda) and Kelvin Sheets, all of Versailles; his daughters, Virginia Espinosa (and husband, Tony) of Versailles and Patti Jackson (and husband, David) of Syracuse; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren with two on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with the Rev. Hoyt Ray officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment will follow in Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, Mo.
