Blair Woman’s Son Is Buried

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 21, at the Colonial Chapel for James F. Pilcher, 58, son of Bessie Jones of Blair. Burial was in Voss Mohr Cemetery.

James F. Pilcher was a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Pilcher; two sons, Harold L. Pilcher, Omaha, James M. Pilcher, Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter, Nancy Gerdes, Omaha; one step-daughter, Kathleen Abbott, Omaha; and one step-son, Patrick Bennett of Texas. Nine grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Pilcher of Millard, Lester Pilcher of Park Rapids, Minnesota, and Bill Pilcher of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Esther Maynard of Valley; and his mother, Bessie Jones of Blair, also survive him.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Crosby Burket Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements for the services.
