Long Time Crowell Home Resident Dies

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Reuben Marion Pinckney, a resident of Crowell Memorial Home since 1966. He died at the Blair Hospital last Sunday, August 18th.

Mr. Pinckney was 94 years of age, having been born December 3, 1880. He was a native of Nebraska.

For many years he lived in Omaha where he was a chemist, specializing in soil chemistry.

He is survived by his wife, Maude, and a sister Bessie H. Pinckney, both of whom are also Crowell Home residents. A brother, Alvin J. lives at Ft. Collins, Colorado.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Gordon Patterson conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.
