Services for Joseph Lorenzo Pinneo, 93 of Blair who died September 2, 1991 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair are 2 p.m. Thursday, September 5 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Rev. Russell Terman is officiating. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Joseph Lorenzo Pinneo was born June 29, 1898 in York County, Nebraska to Joseph and Viola Smith Pinneo. He grew up and attended school in York County.

He worked for the Union Freightway Trucking Company in Omaha for several years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola of Blair; children, Willard L. Pinneo and Donald L. Pinneo, both of Omaha. Shirley Mae and James W. Gillespie of Happy Jack, Arizona, Shirley L. Christensen of Dover, New Hampshire; Lois E. Crane of Coeur d’Arlene, Idaho; Steven D. Pinneo of Grand Island, Nebraska; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Robert Pinneo of Wichita, Kansas; and two sisters, Ellen Gibbon of York, Nebraska and Louise Hunt of Exeter, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
