Services for Viola M. Pinneo, 85 who died November 14, 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 19 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Viola M. Pinneo was born December 3, 1907 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Oris and Mary Hill Hiatt. She attended school in Council Bluffs and then attended the Capital Beauty School in Omaha.

She lived in Kennard and worked at her craft as a beautician for about 30 years.

She married Joseph Pinneo in Glenwood, Iowa September 9, 1947. They lived in Kennard until moving to Blair.

Shortly after the death of her husband, September 2, 1991, she moved to Zionsville, Indiana to live with her daughter, Shirley.

She was a member of the Kennard American Legion Auxiliary and a past member of the Kennard Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Willard, five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Donald L. Pinneo, Omaha; Shirley Mae Gillespie, Happy Jack, Arizona; James W. Gillespie, Happy Jack, Arizona, Shirley L. Christensen, Zionsville, Indiana; Lois E. Crane, Norris Springs, Iowa; Steven E. Pinneo, Grand Island, Nebraska; 19 grand-children; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and one sister, Marjorie Stenzel of Hamburg, Iowa.
