FORMER RESIDENT BURIED HERE

The body of Daniel W. Pipher was brought to Blair, overland, from Charleston, Illinois, last Saturday morning and funeral services were held at the grave in the Blair cemetery with Rev. L. J. Moran of the Baptist church officiating.

The deceased and his family lived in Blair over twenty years ago and will be kindly remembered by some of the older residents. He was born in Indiana, Oct. 16, 1850. Two children survive, Mrs. Wm. Cook of Omaha and Wilbur Pipher of Crawford, Nebr., both of whom were with their father several days prior to his death. Both children were present at the funeral obsequies. Other out of town relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. Barlow Nye of Lincoln, Wm. Cook and family of Omaha, Mrs. Rosa Parrish and son Carol of Herman and Cyril Bell of Charleston, Ill.
