#1- Elzy Triplette, Sr. received word Tuesday of the death of his grandson, Doyle Pipher, aged 13 from ptomaine poisoning. The deceased was one of a pair of twins, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Pipher. Mr. and Mrs. Pipher, who were formerly residences in Herman have the sympathy of their many friends.

#2-23 Aug., 1923 - The Enterprise - Doyle Pipher Word was received by relatives here Tuesday of the death of Doyle, the thirteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Pipher who reside at Crawford, Nebr. Death was caused by ptomaine poisoning. The Piphers were residents here a number of years. Mrs. Pipher is the youngest daughter of Elzy Triplett, and was born and raised here.
