JACK E. DIMMICK, 77
Jack E. Dimmick, age 77, of Decatur, died Wednesday, August 9, 1989 at the Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jack was born on July 6, 1912 at Decatur, Nebraska to Douglas and Ruby (Farber) Dimmick. He attended school in the Blair and Decatur schools and married Ruth Stafford on November 2, 1934 at Tekamah.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Dimmick of Decatur; one son, Gary Dimmick of Grants Pass, Oregon; three daughters, Nadine Freemen, also of Grants Pass, Oregon; Myra Jones of Southgate, California; and Kay McDonald of Salt Lake City, Utah; nineteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one daughter, Eileen Dimmick.
Funeral services were August 14 at the Decatur United Methodist Church with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur.
