INA B. DILLON, 84

Services for Ina B. Dillon, 84 who died April 8, 1996 at Immanuel Hosptal in Omaha were Thursday, April 12, at St. Elizabeth Ann Catholic Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Ina Dillon was born November 20, 1911 to Howard and Maude Custard. She graduated from Omaha Benson High School and attended Peru State Teachers College one year. She taught school one year in a rural school and two years at Millard Town School.

She was a 4-H leader for several years. She also worked for many years in the Education Building at the Douglas County Fair in Waterloo, and also worked in the cafeteria at Westside High School and in the drapery department at Kilpatrick’s at the Westroads.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, a local extension club, Magic Age at Zion Lutheran Church and a senior citizens group at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.

She married Chris Dillon June 1, 1933.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Vera and Velma and a grandson, Jeff.

She is survived by her husband, Chris J., Omaha; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sue Dillon, Perry, Oklahoma; a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Glenn Hazard, Blair; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Carol Dillon, Wichita, Kansas; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Helen Custard, Bakersfield, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Enis, Omaha; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.

Pallbearers were five grandsons and one great-grandson, Steve Dillon, David Dillon, Chris Dillon, Mark Hazard, Scott Hazard and Joe Platt.

Memorials may be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Catholic Church.

Roeder Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
