SERVICES FOR MRS. DILLENER WAS MONDAY

Services for Mrs. Phyllis E. Dillener, 79, were Monday at 2 p.m. at Arlington Community Church. Rev. Bryce Hecht officiated.

Mrs. Dillener died Thursday at her daughter’s home in Houston, Texas. She was born September 10, 1895 in David City and moved to Arlington in November of 1973. She was a member of Arlington Community Church, PEO Sisterhood Chapter and served on the PEO Home Board.

She married William Dillener, June 24, 1919 in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He died July 22, 1974.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. G. W. (Barbara) Davidson of Houston, Texas; sister, Mrs. Arthur (Angeline) Nebel of Columbia, Mo.; one aunt, Mrs. Rupert Davies of Fremont; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was Sunday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. at Reckmeyer Chapel in Arlington.

Pallbearers were Richard Melvard, Oscar Scheer, Leonard Thompson, Russell Gibson, Charles Hansen and Bud D. Kirby. Mrs. Charles House was organist and Dr. and Mrs. Jack Cady were singers.

Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge.
