Services were Tuesday, May 26 at Waterloo United Methodist Church for Berniece Lucille Plettner, 60 of Waterloo who died May 23, 1992 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Rev. Jack Sample officiated. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery at Elkhorn.

Berniece Lucille Plettner was born December 30, 1931 at Geneva, Nebraska to Ralph and Irene Clifford Bobbitt. She married Joel Plettner June 6, 1950 at the Evangelical United Bretheren Church in Geneva.

She was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church.

She was a teller for Western State Bank.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a son, Joel R. Plettner, Waterloo; daughters, Nancy Rose, Waterloo and Susan Tomanek, Gretna; a brother, Ralph Bobbitt, Enterprise, Oregon; sisters, Francis Cartwright, Sparta, Missouri; Margaret Carlson, spring, Texas; Winona Worthington, Longmont, Colorado and Doris Softly of Fairmont, Nebraska and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Arnie Hellbusch, Rocky Plettner, David Rose, Rod Rose, Bill Softly and Robby Tomanek.

Cindy Goering, Linda Oyster and Jeaniffr Tipp provided the vocal music.

Reichmuth Funeral Homes in Valley was in charge of arrangements.
