Services Held For Lyle Plugge

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 24, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ralston for Lyle E. Plugge, 55, of Ralston and formerly of Arlington who died February 22, 1983, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Ralston.

Lyle E. Plugge was born January 17, 1928, in Arlington and had lived in Ralston for the past 26 years. At the time of his death, he was the chief of the Army Corps of Engineers military branch.

He married Arlaine Janssen on July 1, 1951, at Hooper. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Sue Plugge of Nebraska City; and four sons, Lane of Omaha, Guy of Lincoln and Joe and Ted at home. Two grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon and Sterling, both of Arlington; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Marshall and Mrs. Muriel Wulf, both of Arlington, also survive.

Kahler Dolce Mortuary in Papillion was in charge of arrangements for the services.
