Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 26 at the Presbyterian Church in Tekamah for Pauline A. McNear, 81, of Tekamah who died June 22, 1990. Burial was in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Pauline A. McNear was born August 19, 1908 at Tekamah to Henry and Margaret Lewis. In 1930, she married Thomas E. McNear.

They farmed until their retirement in 1971 at which time they moved to Tekamah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 1984.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lew and LaDonna McNear of Tekamah; daughters and sons-in-law, Gerald and Janet Hawkins of Tekamah and Jim and Kay Erwin of Blair; one brother, Clark Lewis of Eugene, Oregon; then grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Hamel & Peck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
