Mary Watchorn Plymate

Mary Watchorn Plymate, 88, of Fremont, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2002, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont with Elder Mike Werner officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mary Watchorn Plymate was born March 27, 1914, at Dadeville, Mo., and was raised in Missouri. She moved to Fremont in 1933.

On Aug. 25, 1938, she married George Watchorn at North Bend; he preceded her in death in 1985. She married Russell Plymate on April 16, 1988, in Fremont.

She is survived by her husband, Russell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Frank Spencer of Blair, and Judy and Chuck Udell of Strang; two sisters, Mina Williams of Fremont, and Bonnie Rae of Joplin, Mo; five brothers, Jerry Yount of Lamar, Mo., Dale Yount and Bill Yount, both of Fremont, Dean Yount of Santa Fe, N.M. and Morris Yount of Sacrosie, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
