Mrs. Herman C. Kuhr, 73 years of age, died Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18th. at 2 o’clock at the Blair Methodist Church. The Rev. Westadt officiated with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Kuhr, the former Hannah K. Nelson, was born September 24, 1888 in Washington County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kruger Nelson. In 1908 she married Mr. Kuhl. The couple observed their Golden Anniversary in 1958.

Besides her husband she is survived by five children, Mrs. Verna Kniep of Kennard; Harvey Kuhr, Los Altos, California; Jack Kuhr, Naperville, Illinois; Ralph Kuhr, Blair and Mrs. Marjorie Svendgaard of Blair. Brothers, George K. Nelson of Herman and Hans Nelson of Omaha. Sisters, Mrs. H. P. M. Hansen of Blair, Mrs. Howard Woodard of Blair, Mrs. Harlan Jensen of Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Roscoe Rosenbaum of Fremont and Mrs. Tom Wilkinson of Winter Haven, Florida; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kuhr was a member of the Eastern Star.

The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
