Services Held for Eunice Shelton

Funeral services were held Monday, August 29, at Campbell Funeral Home for Eunice Jean Shelton, 58, who died August 27, 1983.

The Rev. Dwight Mason officiated. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Eunice Jean Shelton was born August 31, 1924, in Omaha to Charles A. and Anna M. Petersen Eliassen. She married Herbert R. Shelton.

She was a homemaker. She was also a member of Better Breathers.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert; three daughters, Margie Jerekie, Omaha, Betty J. Gates, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mary Lou Sock, Omaha; and three sons, Edward C. Drees, Millard, Herbert P. Shelton, Herman, and Shawn M. Shelton, Omaha. Her mother, Anna Eliassen, Carter Lake, Iowa; four sisters, Dorothy Grivette, Florence Haffke, Charlotte Deputy, Phyllis Kiszkiel; one brother, Gilbert Smith; and nine grandchildren also survive her.

Pallbearers were Ed Belles, Don Meyers, Jr., Steve Blankenship, Herbert G. Shelton, Howard White and Donald (Butch) Stokes.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge.
