Bessie Alback Is Buried On Monday

Funeral services are Monday, June 16, at First Methodist Church in Blair at 2 p.m. for Bessie Alback, 82, who died June 12, 1980 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Rev Gordon Patterson is conducting the services. Burial is in the Blair Cemetery.

Bessie Alback was born January 21, 1898 in Herman to Joseph and Minnie ((Ommerson) Olson. She married Andrew Alback and lived at 1152 Colfax, Blair. She was a homemaker throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew.

She is survived by one son, Lyle Alback, Carter Lake, Iowa; and one daughter, Mrs. Carroll (Mildred) Divoll of Omaha. Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six nieces and nephews also survive her.

Bette Kirk was organist. Homer Nielsen provided the vocal music.

Pallbearers were Merle Ward, Russell Ward, Gene Clements, Howard Widener, Harvey Wilson and Ed Short.

Memorials may be sent to the Blair Rescue Squad.

Campbell Funeral Home has been in charge of arrangements.
