Services for Dale R. Sherwin, 60 of Missouri Valley, Iowa, who died October 25, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair were Wednesday, October 27 at Hennessey-VanCleve-Hurley Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Rev. Ron Wymer officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Missouri Valley.

Dale R. Sherwin was born February 21, 1933 to Rollin and Elsie Sherwin. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and after his discharge he returned to the Missouri Valley area.

He worked for the Western Electric Company of Omaha and retired after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one sister and one brother.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Kharbush of Newton, Iowa; a son, Kevin Sherwin of Fremont; grandchildren, Jaclyn Hillman of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; Alex Kharbush and Nadia Kharbush, both of Newton, Iowa and Marcy Sherwin of Blair.

Casket bearers were Jeff Pleskac, Kevin Sherwin, Jamal Kharbush, John Pleskac, Joe Pleskac, Sr., and Jeffery Pleskac, Jr.

James Doty was organist.
