Jack McNichols to Be Buried June 12

Mr. Jack Edward McNichols passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 10th at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital. He was born at Ottumwa, Iowa, on January 8, 1910.

On April 19, 1947, he was married to Helen Pedersen and they have resided in Blair since 1948. Mr. McNichols was in the electrical business. He was active in the American Legion and V.F.W.

Survivors, besides his wife Helen, are four children: Gerald, Linda, Donald and Debra. Also four sisters, Mrs. Helen Kissel and Mrs. Mary Carlson of Los Angeles, Mrs. Carrie Wright of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Julia McKeever of Omaha, and three brothers, Don and Joseph of McPherson, Kansa, and Frank of Farmersburg, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. George Pallesen will officiate. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Military services will be held at the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearer will be Floyd Triplett, Gene Baumert, Harry Sorensen, Earl Pace, Carl Pieper and Vic Britt.
