Services for Raymond J. McVeigh, 83 who died June 21, 1992 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah. The Rosary will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Raymond John McVeigh was born October 12, 1908 at O’Connor, Nebraska to Arthur J. and Mame Timon McVeigh. He grew up in the Spalding, Nebraska area.

He married Pearl Sparks at Dakota City, Nebraska July 31, 1931.

He had lived at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair since February of 1991.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lonnie; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl “Goldie” McVeigh of Herman; two sons, Michael and James, both of Herman; two daughters, Beverly Vogel of Herman and Jane Simmons of Scottsdale, Arizona; five grandchildren and one sister, Katherine Scroginns of Salem, Oregon.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
