Emyle E. McWilliams, 68, of Blair, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Emyle Ellen Breithaupt was born July 25, 1938, in St. Louis, Mo., to Elmer C. and Annie Marie (Thompson).

She graduated from Blair High School in 1956.

Four days after her 18th birthday, on July 29 1956, she married Gene McWilliams at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair.

Mrs. McWilliams had a great love for her grandchildren and family. This love of children carried over into all facets of her life, including her work, leading her to run a day care in her home for 30 years. She also loved making different kinds of crafts, baking, cooking, and playing bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Gene; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Jeani McWilliams of Murray; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Jon Pounds of Blair; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Breithaupt.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial Services will be held 11 AM Tues. 7/10/07, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blair. Burial Blair Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 PM Mon. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family or your choice.
