James Metzgar

Graveside services for James Theodore Metzgar, 87, of Blair, who died Sunday, December 15, at the Crowell Home, will be Tuesday, December 17, at the Blair Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Howe will officiate.

Metzgar was born April 17, 1898, the son of Harry and Elizabeth Metzgar of Aloona, Pennsylvania. He was married to Ina Marie Ebersole.

Metzgar was a retired Civil Service Electronic Aircraft Trainer.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Betty Metzgar of Visalia, California; one sister, Emily Kephart of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife and son, Rev. James Metzgar.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
