Millie Mildred Porter died February 5, 1987 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. She was 84.

Porter was born February 26, 1902, in Portland, Oregon, to Zachariah and Rosie (Bell) Porter.

She married Loren Everett Porter, who preceded her death, as did five sons.

She was a homemaker.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 6, 1987, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Missouri Valley. John Ewton officiated the ceremony.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy Log of Council Bluffs, and by a son, Lloyd Porter of California, and by a daughter-in-law, Delores Porter of Blair, and by 21 grandchildren.
