W. H. Porter

Mrs. T.D. Collin’s father, W. H. Porter, died at the Blair hospital Monday night after an illness of about three weeks. Had he lived until April 20th he would have been 81 years of age. The body will be taken to Ponca today for burial at his old home. He leaves two children by his first wife and two by his second, Mrs. Collins and W.H. Porter, Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona. L.N. Porter, of this city, is a nephew of the deceased. Mr. Porter was a Methodist minister for many years and was contemplating joining the happy colony at the Crowell Home when his last illness overtook him.
