Former Blair Lady Buried Here

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for Mrs. Florence Porterfield, 74, a former Blair woman. She died last Saturday evening, November 19th at a hospital in Long Beach, California following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Porterfield lived in Blair until 1947 when she moved to Denver. In February, 1966, she moved to California. Her husband died there last July.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair and burial was in the Blair cemetery. Mrs. Porterfield was a sister of Kenneth Pounds, of Blair.
