Robert M. Potter, 53

Services for Robert M. Potter, Sr., 53 of Arlington and formerly of Omaha who died December 16, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont are 2 p.m. Thursday, December 19 at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Rev. Stephen Eldred is officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Robert M. Potter was born December 24, 1937 in Omaha. He grew up there and served with the United States Naval Reserves for two years. He was employed with Rickes Equipment in Omaha and then was a maintenance engineer for the Lozier Corporation in Omaha for 23 years.

He moved to Arlington in June, 1991.

He was a member of Asbury Methodist church in Omaha.

He married Sharon Dockwiler June 1, 1957 in Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Daise Headlee Potter and two brothers, Eugene and Harold D. Potter.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Robert Potter, Jr. of Kennard and Scott Potter of Arlington; two daughters, Robin Leonard of Omaha and Roxann Blair of Spencer, Iowa; three brothers, Richard Potter of Kansas City, Kansas; Duane Potter of San Diego, California and Ronald Potter of Carter Lake, Iowa; a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Harvey) Schroeder of Oceanside, California and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bill Schroeder, Leon Chambers, Guy Pensyl, Bill Stockwell, Carl Kellerman and Dick Meier.

Ronald Potter is the soloist.

A memorial has been established to the church.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
