Naomi L. Metzler, 74, of Fremont, formerly of Blair, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Services were Monday, Dec. 1, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel in Blair with Pastor David Ludwick officiating.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Naomi was born April 4, 1924, in Elizabeth City, N. C.

In November of 1948, she married Ernest Metzler. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1978.

She is survived by two sons, William “Bill” of Fremont and Kenneth and his wife, Petula, of Stafford, Va.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Crafton Horne; husband Ernest; and brothers and sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
