MRS. MARTIN POULSEN DIES

Mrs. Martin Poulsen of the Orum neighborhood passed away on Saturday, November 24th, a victim of heart trouble from which she had suffered for many years.

Deceased was born in Centerville, Nebr. April 29, 1891, and came to Blair in her young womanhood, where for a time she was engaged in the dressmaking business. She met and married Martin Poulsen April 11, 1920, the ceremony being performed at Grand Island.

To them one son, Neal, was born, who with the father, deeply grieves the loss of her whose place can never be filled. Besides the immediate family, two sisters and two brothers grieve her death.

The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church of Orum on Tuesday of last week, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery.

Mrs. N. Martin Poulson, 43, Dies After Prolonged Heart Trouble

Mrs. N. Martin Poulson, 43, died at the Poulson farm home near Orum Saturday morning after being a sufferer from heart trouble for several years.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Block of Lewellan, Nebraska, Mrs. Poulson was born April 29, 1891 at Centerville, Nebraska, where she lived during her early childhood.

She and Mr. Poulson were united in marriage at Grand Island on April 11, 1920. Before her marriage she had served as a dressmaker in Blair for several years.

One son, Neal, was born to them, who with Mr. Poulson survives. Other survivors include two brothers, John Block of Scribner and Hans Block of Lewellan; and two sisters, Mrs. A.C. McCoy of Lewelland and Mrs. George H. Duke of North Platte. There are several more distant relatives.

Funeral services were held at the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Orum at 2’clock Tuesday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. Immanuel Petersen, officiating. Pallbearers were John and Fred Dickmeyer, Chris Hansen, Ed Stork, A.P. Peterson and Soren Poulson. Interments was in the Orum cemetery.
