Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Nora Pounds

Mrs. Nora Ethel Pounds, 78 year of age, died Saturday at the Crowell Home, where she has been a resident during recent years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Bendorf Funeral Home, the Rev. Gilbert Reining of the Baptist Church officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Pounds is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lauren Biffar, and seven grandchildren.

She was born July 2, 1884 near Blair and has been a resident of this community her entire life. Her husband, the late Samuel Harvey Pounds, died several years ago.

Pallbearers will be H. Lyle Guyer, Carroll Thornburgh, Lester Wheeler, Andrew Nielsen, Harry Beck and Ross Deets.
