Russell Wright of Bremerton, WA

Nov. 1, 1919 to May 10, 2008

On May 10, 2008, Russell Clifford Wright passed from this earthly life to join the Lord. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa. He will be forever missed.

Russell was born in Kennard, NE, to Alva and Flossie Wright. He studied drafting at University of NE and attended National Defense training. He moved to WA and began his career at PSNS in 1941 during WWII, retiring in 1973.

He married his wife Joy (Sines) in 1943. He enjoyed salmon fishing. Russ and Joy lived at Seabeck for many years where he liked oystering and looking at the mountains.

His brother, Raymond, and nephew, Steve, preceded him in death, also his dear friend and abiding physician, Dr. Richard Diefendorf.

Surviving him are his wife, Joy, daughters, Linda Hipp and Lila (Don) Schultz, grandchildren, Nathan Hipp, Angela (Eric) Branson, Travis (Tonya) Schultz, and great-grandchildren, Austin, Allison and Dustin. Family members from NE: sister-in-law, Virginia Wright, nieces, Sharon, Sandra and Susan. Very special friends, Ramona and Bob Pagel.

As to his wish, there will be no services. Memorials may be made to CK Fire & Rescue who helped dad so many times. Arrangements entrusted to Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Burial in Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park, Mausoleum, Division Dogwood, Space 253
