Bill Prater, 66, died on February 8, 1985, at the Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Prater is a native of Humboldt, Nebraska and owned the Prater’s Jewelry Store in Humboldt.

Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian Church in Humboldt on Monday, February 11, 1985. Burial was in the Humboldt Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pansy; two daughters, Pamela Kay Prater of Lincoln and Mrs. Cliff (Lisa Ann) Gatzemeyer of McCook; one son, Vann Emett Prater of Evanston, Wyoming; two grandchildren, Douglas Vann and Megan Elise Prater; and one sister, Mrs. Marcile Kolterman, formerly of Blair and now of Lincoln. Also surviving are two nephews, Brian and Joel Kolterman of Blair.
