Lonnie M. Prettyman, 65

Lonnie M. Prettyman, 65, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at his home in Fort Calhoun.

Graveside services were Saturday, April 5, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Lonnie Merle Prettyman was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Omaha to Pat and Effie (Yaeger) Prettyman. He graduated from Tech High School in Omaha.

On Feb. 23, 1963, he married Carol Noah.

Mr. Prettyman was a retired painter. He was a member of the Omaha Riding Club. He loved trains, birds, making birdhouses, fixing up old cars, enjoyed fishing and he especially loved spending time with his family. He was a very patient and caring man.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Todd Bostwick of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Tracy Prettyman of Blair; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Joanne Prettyman of Papillion; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
