Alma Lenora Christensen, 89 years old, died Tuesday morning at the Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. she was born July 7, 1876 in Omaha, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Platz. She was married in Blair, September 14, 1899 to Henry Christensen, long time Blair City Clerk, who preceded her in death in 1945.
A son Donald, of Omaha survives. The deceased was a resident of Blair and Washington County since 1879 and was graduated from Blair High School in 1893. She taught in the Blair Public schools for six years.
Funeral services are being held at 2 P.M. Thursday at First Baptist Church. The Reverend Joel Kemmerer will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
