MRS. ANNA MARIE CHRISTENSEN RITES WERE HELD

Funeral services were held today (Thursday) for Mrs. Peter Christensen, of the Herman vicinity who died Monday, April 18th.

Ania Marie Anderson was born February 19, 1890 in Schieswig Holstein in Denmark. At the age of 22 she came to America and located in the Herman area. On June 3, 1925 she married to Peter Christensen and they farmed in the Herman vicinity all of their married lives. She passed away at her home on the farm where they had lived for the past 20 years.

Survivors besides her husband are a son, Raymond, of Omaha, and a granddaughter Susan.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 21st, at the Campbell Mortuary at 2 p.m. Burial was to be in the Herman Cemetery. The Rev. George Palleson officiated.

Pallbearers were: Clifford Staben, Robert Petersen, Reuben Johnson, Howard Widener, Robert Laughlin and Ted Iverson.
