The funeral of Mrs. Peter Christensen was held from the M. E. Church today at 2 p.m. Mrs. Christiansen was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanson. She was married to Mr. Christiansen October 15, 1897, and was the mother of six children, four of whom, with her husband, father, mother, two sisters and one brother are left to mourn her loss. Her death occurred Monday morning.

Mrs. Peter J. Christensen died at her home three miles southeast of Orum last Monday after having suffered for the past two years from diabetes. The funeral was held Wednesday at 1:00 o’clock and interment made in the Kennard cemetery. Mrs. Christensen was about 32 years old and leaves a husband and four children, a brother and two sisters. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood Lodge at Kennard, and leaves many friends who extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Mrs. Anna Marie, wife of P. J. Christensen, who resided northwest of Kennard, and who has been ill for some weeks, passed away at her home on Monday last. The community where she lived was deeply grieved to learn of the death of this estimable woman who was just in the prime of life.

Mrs. Christensen, whose maiden name was Hansen, was born in Washington County, Nebr., Jan. 9, 1879, and died April 8, 1912. She was married on Oct. 7, 1897, to Mr. P. J. Christensen of six children were born to the union of whom four survive, two boys, Earl and Elmer, and two girls, Elvina and Marie.

Funeral services were held at the home and at Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, Kennard, Rev. Dr. Hiller having charge of the services. Interment was at Kennard Cemetery.
