CHRIS CHRISTENSEN DIED DECEMBER 29

Chris W. Christensen died of a heart attack Wednesday, December 29th. On June 26, 1893 he was born to Mr. and Mrs. Martin Christensen and has spent his entire life near Calhoun.

He was married to Rose Boettger on March 7, 1923. Survivors besides his wife are five sisters, Mrs. C. B. Neumann and Mrs. John Wiese of Calhoun, Mrs. Rollo Allen of Blair, Mrs. Emma Born of Oakland, Calif. and Mrs. Myrtle Blankenfield of Canby, Minnesota; four brothers, Albert of Bennington, Russell of Calhoun, Mack of Tekamah and Vic of Omaha.

Besides farming, Mr. Christensen helped with soil conservation work. He was a member of the Solomon Masonic Lodge and Naomi Chapter of OES in Ft. Calhoun.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 P.M. at the Kremer Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery of the Methodist Church of Omaha officiating. Burial took place in the Calhoun Cemetery.

Pallbearers were six nephews: Mark and David Allen, Lyle and Russell Christensen, Robert Boettger and Arthur Krambeck, Jr.
