SERVICES FOR MRS. DETTERMAN HELD THURSDAY

Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at the Assembly of God Church for Mrs. Mayta Detterman, 56, who died Monday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lizzie Henrichsen, 1643 South St.

The Rev. Nolan Blakkolb officiated with interment in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mrs. Detterman is survived by her husband, William; her mother; two brothers, Frank and Walter Henrichsen, both of Blair; two nieces and two nephews.

Mayta Henrichsen was born on a farm west of Fort Calhoun June 15, 1904. In 1917 she moved to a farm west of DeSoto, with her parents.

October 24, 1944, she was united in marriage to Wm. Detterman of Sioux City, Iowa, where they lived for four years. They moved to her parents’ farm south of Blair, where they farmed for eleven years. In the spring of 1960 they moved to an acreage near Blair, their present home.

Pallbearers were Emmett and Frank Steffen, Harry Rohwer, Art Henrichsen, Alvin Ohrt and John Strada.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
