Herman Detlef died at Florence last Friday of heart trouble. Mr. Detlef lived at Emerson, Nebr., for about 16 years, moving from there to Blair, where he lived for eight years, after which he moved to Omaha, where he was making his home and where he lived for the past 5 years. He was born in Germany and was just past 62 years of age. Funeral services were held at Omaha at the First Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, on Monday afternoon and the body was brought to Blair for interment. Mr. Detlef leaves his wife and two children, Laura and Harry, all of Omaha.
