WALTER HOWARD LUND

Funeral services for Walter Howard Lund, who died suddenly on Nov. 26 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ray Greenwood, near Atkinson, Nebr., were held at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian church yesterday afternoon, Rev. Hutchinson of Craig preaching the sermon.

Walter was the son of Chris Lund, who resides near Craig, and was born July 26, 1910, on the farm now owned by Ernest Gericke, just north of Ft. Calhoun. Walter attended school here until he was ten years old, when the family moved to their present home near Craig. Shortly after they moved there, the mother died from accidental burns.

The sincere sympathy of this entire community is extended to the bereaved father, brothers and sisters in the untimely death of this young man.
