Daryl D. Wulf, 75

Arlington native Daryl D. Wulf, 75, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at his home in Higden, Ark.

Services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the Arlington Community Church. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Daryl D. Wulf was born March 30, 1935, at Arlington to Leonard and Muriel (Plugge) Wulf. He was a graduate of Fremont High School.

He farmed in the Arlington area and worked at Boys Town, farming the land there from 1985 to 2000. After retiring, he moved to Arkansas.

He attended Sugar Loaf Baptist Church at Higden and was a former member of the Arlington Community Church, UCC. He was a former 4-H leader.

On Nov. 7, 1954, he married Joyce B. Christensen at Fremont. She died in 1983.

He is survived by his sons, Jay Wulf of Birmingham, Ala., and Jason Wulf of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Tom Omer of Bennington; brother, Dr. L. Wayne Wulf of Loma Rica, Calif.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Coralen Keeler of Arlington and Mary and Rich Burgess of Neligh; two grandchildren, Trent and Todd Omer of Omaha; special friend, Bettie Vincent of Higden.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, James Wulf.

Memorials are suggested to Boys Town.
