Funeral services for Edwin J. Pressler, 70, of Kennard were held February 1, 1988, at Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Debra Thompsett officiating.
Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.
Edwin died January 30, 1988, at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair.
He was born April 6, 1917, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Charles and Lisle (Jackson) Pressler. He attended school there, and then served in World War II.
Edwin was a carpenter and home builder in the Wisner area for many years, and moved from Wisner to Kennard in 1987.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Wisner.
Edwin married Doris Priest. She survives.
Other survivors include children Mrs. George (Pam) Pearson of Kennard and Terry Pressler of Kennard; three grandchildren; brother Willis Pressler of Kansas City, and sisters Marian Pressler of Mosquite, Texas, and Lela Wilderman of Basehor, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
