Funeral services were Tuesday, July 26, for Lowell V. Price, 72 of Fremont who died on July 23, 1983, in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County after suffering from cancer.

The Rev. Merle Zook officiated. Burial was in Artesia, New Mexico.

Lowell V. Price was born September 18, 1911, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was raised in New Mexico and lived in Blair before moving to Fremont in 1964.

He worked for Consolidated Blenders as a salesman and retired in 1979. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He married the former Barbara Pate in 1937 in New Mexico. She died October 11, 1975.

He is survived by two sons, Lowell, Jr., of Dallas, Texas, and Bob of Gainsville, Florida, a brother, Leland Price of Artesia, New Mexico; his mother, Mrs. Linda Price of Artesia; and six grandchildren also survive him.
